It's time to say goodbye to our beloved Bongo as we head overseas. Bought Feb 2022, we've taken our Bongo from Cape Reinga to the Bluff spending 3 months travelling around NZ earlier this year. Despite the higher mileage and age, we never had any problems with the van during our travels. Cam-belt was replaced when we first bought the van (@ ~265,000 km) and a new battery and alternator were installed in Feb this year. Has just passed new WOF without any problems. Fully self contained (licence until Dec 2024) with a simple yet comfy set-up with plenty of storage. Kitchen is at the rear of the van, equipped with fresh and grey water tanks, a hand-pump sink and a pull-out drawer to store all of the kitchen necessities and more. All the essentials can be provided if desired, including a two-burner gas stove and a 3 Kg LPG cylinder, pots and pans etc., two brand new camping chairs and a camping table.
