Ready to go and reliable Van for travelling NZ
Ready to go and reliable Van for travelling NZ

Description

Hi! My name is Jack, and it came the time for me to selling my van that accompanied me through all NZ during this year.

This is the right van for who doesn't want any time to waste looking for the perfect and most beautiful van, but needs a reliable vehicle ready to go for travelling the entire of the country without time to waste.

The van is not new, is not beautiful looking, could be a little noisy, but is a really trust worthy companion that can get you through every aspect of NZ, I travelled alone with it for all the winter season, through the worst weather, storms, winds, freezing temperatures, iced roads and steep ones in the mountains, it never failed me once.

The engine got replaced from a previous owner, the kms never got put down and I don't have any documents about it, but you can feel it from how it drives that is like a way younger engine of what the km shows, started first shot even at temperatures of -5C, and is strong enough to carry the van even in steep roads in the mountains, and the gear box is very fluid.

For the documentations, I'm getting a new WoF done in September, repairing minor issues so the van is perfect and safe for travels, Rego is expiring in october but is easy and cheap to get one.

It is self contained until the new regulation apply in 2025, so you can freedom camp still for all spring and summer, until June.

Mechanically speaking I made some reparations when I got it, getting it a new battery and new frontal brakes, so after the mechanical check it was perfect to go.

All the interior are brand new, manually build by myself, I've put a lot of love into the making of it, using brand new wood and forniture. The bed is build in a way that can be folded creating a large living space with two couches and a detachable table, when closed it created a full 1.9m long bed, so even if you are tall you are gonna sleep well and not in a small space.

The interior is insulated between the walls and roof, and the bed comes with a lot of blankets, I slept with my t-shirt at -0 temperatures without any problem, is really comfortable!

The kitchen is complete with a proper space for storing food and goods, a sink with manual pump and a foot pump, normal tanks for clean and grey water, build in a way that is accessible to get them off.

It comes with a camping stove, a full variety of kitchen utensil, pans and plates etc.

Is comfortable enough to cook inside and outside using the kitchen space.

For storage, both the couch seats are build with a total of 6 big "drawers" compartments, enough space for clothes, kitchen stuff and whatever you want.

About the electricity, I have a Bluetti EB70 portable power-station, like a giant powerbank that can recharge my phone at least some days with a full charge. It is rechargeable by any classic electrical socket, in the car with the sigarette lighter port or with a solar panel. I have also that, a 200W portable and foldable solar panel that can be attached to the van or be putted in the right sun spot when not moving, so at least you're covered with the electrical chargers.

Inside it got a full set of batteries alimented lights, so you won't need an electrical source for light.

On the top it got a full roof rack, strong built for any kind of needs, suitable for canoas etc.

I think that's all, as I said is not a perfect new van so it needs some time to be known for some particular special features that it got, but once you get to know him he can get you wherever you want without any effort, it really is a van with a lot of personality.

I'm still travelling with it and I'll be moving out of NZ at the starts of October so I'll be looking for someone that I can trust to sell the van in that period of time, because before I'll be living in it, but I'm open to possibilities and change of plans.

PS: the van comes with different accessories that I'll not be able to carry with me, such as all the tools I used for the construction of the interiors (screwdriver, jigsaw, manual tools etc.) that in case you can even sell for some profit, and also an amazing Kite that I had with me but I won't use so I'll gift it to you in the price of the van!!
