It regularly gives us over 9.8 L/100 km fuel economy. All maintenance is up to date, new battery under warranty, engine mounts changed. The motor runs impeccably, the transmission shifts smoothly, the radio sounds great, it drives evenly and smoothly and everything works as it should.

The interior of this car is 9/10. Mechanically it is a 10/10. Cosmetically the exterior is a solid 6/10 up close, and 8/10 from 3 meters away. This is the only weak point of the car; Mazdas of this vintage are known to get UV fade on the clear coat, and this one is no exception. It adds a patina of charm we have grown to quite enjoy. Additionally, it has one small area where someone dented it in a car park, which is only cosmetic and not worth repairing as it doesn't affect the function.
